McDowell are a husband and wife duo (Gary and Ruth Stout). They both sing and Ruth plays harmonica accompanied by Gary on guitar. Sometimes Ruth plays an old fender bass guitar to add to the mix and Gary ventures into the world of folk fiddle. They  started  up as a duo in 2023, year having played with bands in the past.

 

After gracing us with their presence in 2024, we look forward to seeing them on the streets of Epworth once more at Epworth Music Day 2026.
